Fun for all the family in the St Paul’s Bay radius
Looking to get away with the family? The Topaz radius offers incredible activities for the whole family. Check out some of the options available at hand:
Buġibba Water Park
The Bugibba Water Park is a free, one of a kind, park for the island. The water park offers a location for children to cool off in the hot season and activities such as water umbrellas, a bucket tower, and two water cannons. The park opens between June and September from 10:00 to 19:00 so if you intend to book your stay during the summer months - the Bugibba Water Park is definitely worth a visit.
Treat your children to the latest movie! The Empire Cinema is the only movie theatre in the area but offers great fun! Grab a bite in the lounge area or hang out in the games’ room while you wait for your movie to commence. If you’ve got a sweet tooth, don’t miss out on buying a goodie back from the candy nook in the theatre.
Beat the summer heat with an element of competitivity. Challenge the family to a kayaking trip. The Bugibba area is full of kayak hiring spots so the task shouldn’t be too hard to execute. A single seater goes for €7.50 per hour while if you want to turn the activity into a team sport, you can hire a double seater for €10.50 per hour.
Malta National Aquarium
Check out some wildlife on your next family outing. Children love animals! The Malta National Aquarium is a relatively new settlement which offers maritime educational for all ages. The Aquarium features new talks and exhibitions each day - it can never get old. Make sure to grab a shot of the whole family before entering the Aquarium!
The beautiful thing about Bugibba is that there’s no need to over-complicate things in order to live a good experience. Simply pack your best bathing suit and head out to the beach. Take a swim, get a tan, nibble on a good ftira… The fun is assured for the whole family.
